1 roll of puff pastry

 100g apple jam

 1 egg

 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

 50g sugar


 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.

 2. Roll out the puff pastry and spread the apple jam evenly on top.  Roll the dough back and cut the log into 4 pieces.

 3. Use a toothpick to press each piece in the middle.

 4. Brush the apple pies with beaten egg and sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar mixture.

 5. Bake for 20 minutes.
